International Soiree

The International Student Scholarship Fundraiser and Soiree is ISA's biggest event in the Spring semester!

Country Theme

Each year we select a theme and invite performers that spotlight a particular geographic region or a specific area of interest. In the past, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, India, The Philippines, Mexico and Iran have been featured.

We also have a silent auction that showcases beautiful handicrafts from all over the world. All ticket and silent auction sales benefit the International Scholarship Fund.

International Student Scholarship Fund

Throughout the year, ISA raises money for the scholarship fund, out of which a scholarship is awarded to one enrolled international student each year.

The International Student Scholarship Fund was established in 2001 to help international students who perform well at Loyola, but who may need additional financial assistance once they enroll at Loyola.

Currently, international students on F-1 student visas who develop a financial need after they arrive, as a result of devaluations in their currency, or because of world-wide or country specific economic problems are ineligible for any need based aid or U.S. government financial aid.

In the hopes of addressing this need, the International Student Scholarship is a competitive scholarship based on both need and merit.
