FreeCome learn about the cuisine, culture, and music of Brazil!
Brazil Fest is a fun new event hosted by CIE, the College of Music and Media, the Office of Student Affairs, and Loyola's Latin American Studies department. There are lots of activities and ways to get involved!
During percussion workshops, Dr. Cody Case will teach a few popular rhythms such as samba-reggae on real Brazilian percussion instruments. No experience is necessary and everyone can play!
Our Brazilian students will be making feijoada, a very popular Brazilian dish that combines rice, beans, and pork. Stop by for a taste!
Want to study abroad in Brazil? Come talk to a CIE representative to find out more about your options. Administrators from Student Life and Ministries will also be present to promote service-learning opportunities; and professors from Latin American Studies will promote their classes as well as their major and minor programs.
Seja bem-vindo!
