Off-Campus Housing

While living off-campus doesn't come with the convenience of on-campus living, it can be a fun way to experience New Orleans. Neighborhoods in the city are unique and we recommend reviewing Loyola's Neighborhood Guide before starting your housing search. It is also helpful to look at Google Street View and even drive by places you are interested in.

Below are some good resources to finding a rental in New Orleans:

Zillow

Zillow is a good place to start your search for off-campus housing. Be sure to focus your search in areas around campus and refer the Neighborhood Guide when choosing accommodations.

Craigslist

Craigslist is a national classified website that is segmented into metropolitan areas and is another source of off-campus housing opportunities in the New Orleans area.

HotPads

HotPads is a helpful website, with listings in the university area.

Loyola University Off-Campus Housing

This page lists local rentals and has a roommate finding program.  Please note that some of the listings are quite far from the university and you should look up the locations on a map program.

College of Law

The College of Law has a great resource page for law students seeking off-campus housing or roommates.
