ISA E-Board Members
E-Board Positions
*Every member of the association is expected to provide creative ideas for the association’s events and be an active participant in all meetings.
President - Maria Paula
Responsibilities:
-
The President is the general manager of all the association’s matters, and will oversee all of the activities, whether events, finance or marketing. They are responsible for keeping an open communication with all the members of the E-Board.

The President is responsible for organizing and leading the association’s meetings and is the official spokesperson for the association.
-
Final decisions for any of the association’s matters will need to run by the President.

The President will need to be in direct contact with the association’s advisor and other organizations under the Center for International Education, such as Cultural Connections.
Institutional Relations Ambassador - Nathan
Responsibilities:
-
The IR Ambassador will work alongside the President as a spokesperson for the association. They are expected to attend all the necessary meetings with the President during the semester to work towards the advancement of international students at Loyola.

In addition, they will also be responsible for contacting other university associations for partnerships in events (whether online or in-person)

As an individual position, they are also expected to actively participate in the execution and planning of the events of the association.
Financial Director - Samer
Responsibilities:
-
The Financial Director is directly responsible for the management of the budget and the report of the financial activities of the association.

They are the representative for all financial matters to SGA, and thus are responsible for reaching out to them for the application of allocations (in a timely manner) and other financial matters.

In addition, as the Financial Director they are responsible to work hand-in hand with the association's Financial Associate and delegate tasks in an appropriate manner, as well as keep an open communication with them.
The Financial Director, along with the Financial Associate, are equally responsible for keeping track of ticket sales in events and the management of the money earned/spent, and reporting it back to the association.
Financial Associate - Richard
Responsibilities:

The Financial Associate will work hand-in-hand with the Financial Director. They are responsible for knowing and understanding the budget as well as being able to step in as the Financial Director in any needed circumstances.

The Financial Associate is directly responsible for reaching out to external vendors, sponsors or financial collaborators, for events such as giveaways, contests, events or need-based sponsorships.

The Financial Director, along with the Financial Associate, are equally responsible for keeping track of ticket sales in events and the management of the money earned/spent to report it back to the association in a timely manner.
Events and Fundraising Director - Alexandra
Responsibilities:

The E&F Director is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of the association’s events from start to finish.

They are responsible for making sure the event (whether online or in person) goes according to plan, and thus will need to present to the association a planning schedule for each of the events of the semester (in a timely manner).

In addition, as the E&F Director they are responsible to work hand-in-hand with the association’s E&F Associate(s) and delegate tasks in an appropriate manner, as well as keep an open communication with them.

The E&F Director, along with the E&F Associate, are equally responsible for managing the association’s fundraising ideas and e xecution (includes tabling when needed) and will work closely with the Financial team to ensure proper management of fundraising events.
Events and Fundraising Associates - Patricia and Saskia
Responsibilities:

The E&F Associate(s) work hand-in-hand with the E&F Director. They are responsible for knowing and understanding the management and planning of each of the association’s events (whether online or in-person) as well as being able to step in as the E&F Director in any needed circumstances.

The E&F Associate(s) are directly responsible for the association’s email communication with the rest of the community. They must keep an open communication with international students and serve as a liaison between the community and the association.
The E&F Director, along with the E&F Associate(s), are equally responsible for managing the association’s fundraising ideas and execution (includes tabling when needed) and will work closely with the Financial team to ensure proper management of fundraising events.
Social Media and Design Manager - Amanda
Responsibilities:

The S&D Manager is directly responsible for the association’s social media image, on-campus marketing and the active promotion of the association.

For each event, the S&D Manager will work along the E&F team to make a comprehensive marketing plan that goes with the event plan.

They are responsible for designing posts and managing the social media accounts and keeping an active presence online. The S&D Manager is also responsible for designing flyers and other needed promotional tools.

In addition, they will work hand in hand with the President and the rest of the team to come up with ideas on how to gain a bigger audience for the association and reach more of the Loyola community and present the plan to the association.
